Hard work pays off?

There's a slight flaw in the changing of the guard this time around. My current boss leaves Friday, and her replacement won't be hired until September. This leaves just over a month (about five weeks) of little old me alone in the office. The supervisor who oversees all the crap that goes on here approached me this morning to see if I'd like to occupy that special seat at the desk of my departing employer. My answer?

HELL YES.
